A MESSAGE TO THE ITALIAN TEA PARTY, FROM THE TEA PARTY IN CALIFORNIA...
It is an immense honor to welcome our brothers and sisters from Italy into the family of growing Tea Party activists.
The cause for freedom and individual liberty is universal. The right to chose how one lives, free from the yoke of burdensome government taxation and regulation ... this is the natural yearning of ALL people. And your brave new efforts are proof of that today.
Government here in the United States, and elsewhere across the globe, has grown at an alarming rate, surpassing any reasonable jurisdiction of simple law and order and infrastructure maintenance. Micromanagement of all aspects of our lives is on the rise ... and the price tag is crushing taxation which leaves families little to nothing to call their own. Spiraling national debt, and the cycle of voracious tax and spend policies threatens to unravel the peace and stability of our societies.
The solution? Lower taxation and Capitalism. It is the only economic structure that nurtures and encourages Freedom. Real freedom ... to chose ones career path, where one lives, and how one follows their hopes and dreams. Heavy government taxation robs people of real choices for their lives. Capitalism with MODEST regulation is a self correcting system ... if only the government will trust the people to use the free market in their best interest.
And that is the real issue. Trust. Free people trust each other. We trust that our neighbor will provide for their own family, make decisions in their own best interest, and work hard to do both. And we enact a limited set of laws to protect people from harming each other in those pursuits. So long as we trust in each other and provide charity to those in TRUE need, a healthy, prosperous society thrives.
But government does not trust The People. It believe us to be incompetent children who need to be told when to work, what to eat, where to live, what to drive, how to think, and what to believe. Our hopes and dreams are of no consequence to government leaders. We simply exist only to labor for their ambitions.
How did we get to this point? Political correctness, incremental progressivism, self interested lawmakers, and political parties focused on the next cocktail party rather than the interests of the normal citizens.
Taxpayers have been backed into a corner, with no one left to advocate for them.
So we have created OUR OWN platform for action ... the Tea Party. It is a platform specifically for The People ... to tell lawmakers, pundits, and political parties what we want them to hear. It is not a soap box for politicians. Most of us prohibit politicians and candidates of any stripe to take our stage. We reserve our stage for “We the People.”
“We the People ...,” are in fact the first three words in our United States Constitution. “We the People” have allowed lawmakers to get away with far too much for too long. “We the People” are back! And the Tea Party is our “union” ... our representation and voice. Lawmakers have forgotten they work FOR US ... and it is high time they got a reminder.
We are non-partisan, with no loyalty to any political party. Consider us a watch dog movement, ready to swat the nose of any lawmaker or party leader who strays from the best interests of The People.
Our labors and time spent at work belong to us. It is not the government’s place to chain us to a work desk on their behalf ... to feed their growing appetite for spending.
Public safety, national defense, basic infrastructure, and a modest and temporary safety net for those in need is all the government is tasked with providing with our tax dollars. But somewhere along the way, it became the government’s job to provide all things to all people ... and to pay and ever growing public employee work-force with higher, and higher wages and benefits. It is an unsustainable cycle ... and The People demand that it stops.
The wise Margaret Thatcher once said, “Socialism is great...until you run out of other people’s money.” I think we can safely say we’ve reached that point in history where the tap has run dry.
We the People are done being the piggy bank for endless, irresponsible spending. We are here to demand transparency, to be a part of the process, and to regain our Liberty.

Un messaggio per i Tea Party ITALIANO, da The Tea Party in California ...
E 'un onore immenso per accogliere i nostri fratelli e sorelle d'Italia in una famiglia di attivisti crescente Tea Party.
La causa per la libertà e la libertà individuale è universale. Il diritto di scegliere come si vive, libero dal giogo pesante della tassazione e la regolamentazione del governo ... questo è il desiderio naturale delle persone ALL. E i vostri sforzi coraggiosi nuovi sono la prova di oggi.
Governo qui negli Stati Uniti e altrove nel mondo, è cresciuta ad un ritmo allarmante, superando qualsiasi giurisdizione ragionevole di leggi semplici e di ordine e manutenzione delle infrastrutture. Microgestione di tutti gli aspetti della nostra vita è in aumento ... e il suo prezzo è schiacciante la tassazione delle famiglie, che lascia poco o niente a chiamare loro. Spirale del debito nazionale, e il ciclo delle imposte vorace e trascorrere le politiche minaccia di svelare la pace e la stabilità delle nostre società.
La soluzione? Ridurre la tassazione e il capitalismo. E 'l'unica struttura economica che alimenta e incoraggia la libertà. La vera libertà ... di scegliere quelli carriera percorso, dove si vive e come si seguono le loro speranze e sogni. tassazione pesante del governo priva le popolazioni di scelte per la loro vita reale. Il capitalismo con regolazione modesto è un sistema di auto correzione ... se solo il governo la fiducia del popolo di utilizzare il libero mercato nel loro interesse.
E questo è il vero problema. Trust. Le persone libere fiducia reciproca. Confidiamo che il nostro prossimo fornirà per la propria famiglia, a prendere decisioni nel loro proprio interesse, e il duro lavoro da fare entrambe le cose. E noi emanare una serie limitata di leggi per proteggere le persone da danneggiare l'altro in quelle occupazioni. Finché abbiamo fiducia nella vicenda e di fornire la carità a chi ne ha bisogno vero, una società sana, prospera prospera.
Ma il governo non si fida del Popolo. Ci crediamo di essere figli incompetenti che hanno bisogno di essere detto quando al lavoro, cosa mangiare, dove vivere, che da guidare, come pensare e cosa credere. Le nostre speranze e sogni non hanno alcuna conseguenza per i capi di governo. Semplicemente, esistono solo a lavorare per le loro ambizioni.
Come siamo arrivati a questo punto? La correttezza politica, progressismo incrementale, auto legislatori interessati, e partiti politici incentrata sulla cocktail prossimo, piuttosto che gli interessi dei cittadini normali.
I contribuenti sono stati sostenuti in un angolo, senza nessuno a sinistra per sostenere per loro.
Così abbiamo creato la nostra propria piattaforma d'azione ... il Tea Party. Si tratta di una piattaforma appositamente per il popolo ... per raccontare legislatori, esperti e partiti politici che cosa vogliamo sentire. Non è una scatola di sapone per i politici. La maggior parte di noi vietare politici e candidati di ogni striscia di fare il nostro palco. Ci riserviamo la nostra scena di "Noi, il Popolo".
"Noi ...," persone sono infatti le prime tre parole della nostra Costituzione degli Stati Uniti. "Noi, il Popolo" legislatori hanno permesso di farla franca troppo per troppo tempo. "Noi, il Popolo" sono tornati! E il Tea Party è la nostra "unione" ... la nostra rappresentanza e voce. I legislatori hanno dimenticato lavorano PER NOI ... ed è giunto il momento hanno ottenuto un promemoria.
Noi siamo non di parte, senza fedeltà a nessun partito politico. Ci considerano un movimento di cane da guardia, pronto a schiacciare il naso di un legislatore o leader di partito che si allontana dalle migliori interessi del popolo.
Le nostre fatiche e il tempo trascorso sul posto di lavoro ci appartengono. Non è posto il governo di noi a catena a una scrivania a loro nome ... per alimentare il loro appetito in crescita per la spesa.
La sicurezza pubblica, difesa nazionale, infrastrutture di base, e una rete di sicurezza modesta e temporanea per chi è nel bisogno è tutto il governo ha il compito di fornire con i nostri soldi delle tasse. Ma da qualche parte lungo la strada, è diventato il lavoro del governo di fornire tutto a tutti gente ... e di pagare e sempre crescente del pubblico il lavoro dei dipendenti con maggiore forza, e salari più elevati e benefici. Si tratta di un ciclo insostenibile ... e la domanda popolare che si ferma.
Il saggio di Margaret Thatcher, una volta disse: "Il socialismo è grande ... fino a che non finiscano i soldi degli altri." Credo che possiamo tranquillamente dire che abbiamo raggiunto quel punto della storia in cui ha eseguito il rubinetto a secco.
Noi, il Popolo si fanno essere il salvadanaio per interminabili, la spesa irresponsabile. Siamo qui a chiedere trasparenza, di far parte del processo, e per riconquistare la nostra libertà.
