NATIONWIDE ANNIVERSARY TEA PARTY KEYNOTE SPEECHES BY SAN DIEGO'S OWN ROGER HEDGECOCK and RICHARD RIDER!

Join us February 27th as Roger Hedgecock and Richard Rider headline our celebration of the one-year anniversary of the nationwide Tea Party Movement. We will focus on California and it's roll in 2010, as-well-as host a PETITION DRIVE for the Citizen Power Campaign and the Reform Call Now.
http://UnplugThePoliticalMachine.org/

Just one year ago, on a grey Friday morning, hundreds of taxpayers from across California gathered at San Diego's waterfront to join 22 other cities in a simultaneous protest of the Stimulus Package, TARP, the California Budget, and a federal and state government spiraling out of control. That day a Revolutionary spirit was rekindled in Americans. Hard working, freedom loving people realized they were not alone in their frustrations. And thus, this grassroots movement was firmly born and has changed the political landscape in ways our lawmakers were never prepared for.

It is time not only to celebrate how far this movement has come, but to send a clear message that we aren't going anywhere. We will all remain vigilant watchdogs of our government and will work tirelessly to return the political process to THE PEOPLE.

APR. 15 - SAN DIEGO TAX DAY TEA PARTY

We know it's early, but many are asking if we will be hosting Tax Day Tea Parties next year...the answer is Hell, YES! And as they say, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it," so let's all meet at the the three major San Diego Post Office locations again (other county locations by sister groups TBA). No speakers, this is just a good old fashioned sidewalk rally:

THURSDAY, APRIL 15
5:00pm

P.O. SAN DIEGO
2535 Midway Dr.
San Diego CA 92110
5:00-11:30pm
MAP

P.O. RANCHO PENASQUITOS
11251 Rancho Carmel
Dr, San Diego, CA 92128
5:00-8:00pm
MAP

P.O. EL CAJON
401 W. Lexington Ave
El Cajon, CA 92020
5:00-7:00pm
MAP

-------------------

IMPORTANT:

Come when you can and stay for as long as you can!!
It is VERY, VERY important for everyone to remember not to trespass on actual post office property, block any driveways, or hinder the movement of anyone who needs to pass our groups. But we can line the sidewalks leading to the post offices. So bring your signs and comfy shoes...it's time to show Sacramento and DC how many fed up tax payers there are!

-------------------

PARKING FOR MIDWAY P.O.

There isn't a whole lot of parking right by the Midway post office. The following are your easiest options...but walking is involved...(you can think of it as a "march"):

1) "Loma Square" shopping center on the corner of Rosecrans & Midway. Just a head's-up...there is lots of food at this location: Jamba Juice, Starbucks, Einstein Bagel, Baja Fresh, Figaro's Pizza, Pick-up Stix, & Carl's Jr.

2) George Dewey Elementary School - 3251 Rosecrans (that is if there are no visible events happening at the school).

3) Parking lot of a vacant drug store - 3251 Rosecrans

4) Take a cab from the airport or down town

5) Bus service:
http://www.sdcommute.com/Services/Route.aspx?r=10

4) WARNING - the "Rosecrans Center" at the corner of Rosecrans & Midway looks like it tows non-customers.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please help the SOCALTRC team continue to bring these "awareness" events to you!

SOCALTRC is not backed by any BIG money funding, only by the kindness and generosity of you, our FELLOW PATRIOTS! We are working on our 501 (c) 4 non-profit staus , but it will not be tax deductible
