It is time to turn up the heat against Congress and it’s efforts to pass a government takeover of health care. A nationwide protest is being planned outside the offices of targeted House members for Tuesday, March 16th at Noon. This effort will coincide with a “People’s Surge” in Washington D.C. where local groups will be sending members to fill the Congressional office buildings with constituents voicing their objects to the current “plan.”

**IMPORTANT**
1) This building houses medical offices, so it is VERY IMPORTANT that no one engages the staff or patients that are walking on the sidewalk to their appointments. Security at this building is very strict and the police will be called if we create the appearance of harassing anyone who is not a part of our protest effort.
2) There is NO SMOKING along the front of the building. Smoking can be done across the street or around the corner at the red benches.
3) The INSIDE of the sidewalk is PRIVATE PROPERTY...it is very important that we hug the street side of the sidewalk and not block foot traffic.
4) Congregating in front of the main entrance is strictly forbidden by security and will result in police involvement
5) Lets be sure to line BOTH sides of the street this time for maximum impact.
Please do not lean on any of the parked cars...again security will be watching!
If security or counter protesters become an issue, please move to the opposite side of the street so that patients can access the building without interference (it is the more visible side of the street anyway)

And as they say, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it," so let's all meet at the the three major San Diego Post Office locations again (other county locations by sister groups TBA). No speakers, this is just a good old fashioned sidewalk rally:

But we can line the sidewalks leading to the post offices. So bring your signs and comfy shoes...it's time to show Sacramento and DC how many fed up tax payers there are!

There isn't a whole lot of parking right by the Midway post office. The following are your easiest options...but walking is involved...(you can think of it as a "march"):
1) "Loma Square" shopping center on the corner of Rosecrans & Midway. Just a head's-up...there is lots of food at this location: Jamba Juice, Starbucks, Einstein Bagel, Baja Fresh, Figaro's Pizza, Pick-up Stix, & Carl's Jr.
2) George Dewey Elementary School - 3251 Rosecrans (that is if there are no visible events happening at the school).
3) Parking lot of a vacant drug store - 3251 Rosecrans
4) Take a cab from the airport or down town
5) Bus service:
