Please bring signs, flags and wear Red, White and Blue! There is parking at the Center for Arts and at Smart and Final parking lot. Please line up along both sides of Escondido Blvd, if the parking lots are filled along the post office, please find parking further down the street and on side streets and just continue to line up on the side walks going in both directions. This is a Peaceful Rally! We accept no liability for people or property either before, during or after this event.

The rally will be held at Window On the Bay Park in Monterey from 4:30 pm. - 6:30 pm. The event will be broadcast live by Mark Carbonaro (Mark & Jim Morning Show) of 1460 AM KION radio. There will be a band...and patriotic music. Bring your protest posters, American spirit...cameras...and join us!

IMPORTANT:
Come when you can and stay for as long as you can!!
It is VERY, VERY important for everyone to remember not to trespass on actual post office property, block any driveways, or hinder the movement of anyone who needs to pass our groups. But we can line the sidewalks leading to the post offices. So bring your signs and comfy shoes...it's time to show Sacramento and DC how many fed up tax payers there are!

PARKING FOR MIDWAY P.O.
There isn't a whole lot of parking right by the Midway post office. The following are your easiest options...but walking is involved...(you can think of it as a "march"):
1) "Loma Square" shopping center on the corner of Rosecrans & Midway. Just a head's-up...there is lots of food at this location: Jamba Juice, Starbucks, Einstein Bagel, Baja Fresh, Figaro's Pizza, Pick-up Stix, & Carl's Jr.
2) George Dewey Elementary School - 3251 Rosecrans (that is if there are no visible events happening at the school).
3) Parking lot of a vacant drug store - 3251 Rosecrans
4) Take a cab from the airport or down town
5) Bus service:

4) WARNING - the "Rosecrans Center" at the corner of Rosecrans & Midway looks like it tows non-customers.
